Advantage opens new car hire locations
Posted on: January 23rd, 2008 by Robert BergersonAdvantage Rent-A-Car has opened two new locations in Colorado, including one in Hayden (near Steamboat Springs) and the other in Aspen. Both sites are popular with skiers, with Aspen offering some of the best ski resorts in the United States. Mary Jane Wells, Advantage’s executive vice president, observed that by opening two new outlets near well known ski resorts, Advantage could increase its presence among leisurely travelers, especially during the peak winter travel season. One of the benefits for frequent renters is that they will now have much more opportunity to collect valuable reward points during their winter holiday.
All Aspen car rentals can be booked using Advantage’s website, where a special page has been set up for those interested in visiting this ski destination. Advantage’s new Aspen location is open seven days a week, from 8am to 10pm in the Aspen Business Center. Economy class cars—such as the Chevy Aveo—cost only $26 for rentals in late January and early February. The Aveo is a five door vehicle and is ideal for up to four people. The actual basic rental fee stands at $21.67 per day, but an 8.9 percent sales tax and an 11 percent surcharge is added to the final price.
Advantage is among the largest car hire firms in the US. The company currently operates a total of 300 outlets throughout America and in 35 other countries around the world. The firm has its main offices in San Antonio (Texas) and is a privately-owned car hire company.
