Advantage to open Chicago Midway location

Advantage Rent-A-Car has announced that it is getting ready to open up a brand new location, which will serve passengers travelling through Chicago’s Midway Airport. The new outlet is set to open its doors on July 15th and will aim to serve those who arrive on flights to Chicago’s secondary airport. Although O’Hare is still busier and more prominent, Midway serves more than 17 million passengers each year and it is also among the most rapidly expanding hubs in the country. As such, Advantage is all but guaranteed a clientele, especially thanks to the fact that Southwest Airlines maintains a prominent presence at Midway, with a total of around 200 flights per day.

Mick Anselmo, Advantage’s chief operating officer, pointed out that the car rental firm’s very positive experience at O’Hare is what ultimately convinced it to open up a new location at the Midway Airport. Anselmo also noted that the opening of this new location is just the first step in the company’s business strategy to start establishing many more locations at some of the busiest airports in the United States. If it does, in fact, follow up on this, Advantage will find itself in direct competition with some of the largest international car rental companies.

Although the new Midway location has not yet opened, Advantage has already started accepting reservations for pick-up from Midway. Once the rental outlet does open, it will welcome customers from 7am to 11pm, in order to serve passengers arriving on just about any flight.

Advantage currently maintains a network of around 100 locations in the US and operates 36 affiliated outlets abroad.
