Air Asia celebrates eighth anniversary with cheap flights

Travellers wishing to book flights within Malaysia for the promotional price of just RM 8 or get international flights for only RM 25 must make their booking between the 8th and 13th of December for travelling between the 5th of July and the 30th of October. If you want to get your hands on the cheap tickets you will have to be quick off the mark as the promotional will, as always, run on a first come, first served basis.
Flights will go to popular holiday destinations such as Singapore, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Bangkok, Jakarta, Hanoi, Taipei, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Macau, Trichy and many more. The normal terms and conditions apply to all of the flights booked during the promotional period. Currently, the well used airline flies to around 120 routes in more than 60 destinations and it has already carried a massive 75 million people. The fleet number currently stands at 82 and only eight years ago it began with just two.
Operations with Air Asia are available in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia and the flight paths stretch to China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Australia. As well as the Air Asia brand, the new Air Asia X has recently been introduced and it proving to be very successful as a low-cost long-haul carrier. This year the airline won the 2009 World’s Best Low Cost Airline in a survey conducted by Skytrax.
