Air Canada offers routes to London for $125
Posted on: October 18th, 2007 by Jean AdamsAir Canada is now offering a new web special, with flights to
London from select Canadian cities for as low as $125. These prices are for each way, and do not include taxes. Nevertheless, they rival the airfares charged by discount carriers Zoom and Air Transat, both of which fly to many of the same destinations in the
United Kingdom. The $125 one-way airfares apply to flights destined to London, from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary and
Edmonton. The only major condition is that passengers must purchase a round-trip ticket in order to enjoy these fares both ways. Reservations should also be made online, using Air
Canada’s website.
In order to receive these prices, all tickets must be reserved and paid for no later than October 31, 2007. Travel, however, may take place any time between now and February 29, 2008. There are, however, certain restrictions in terms of what days of the week one flies on. These are usually displayed separately for each city when potential clients query the price of a ticket online. A total of 1000 seats are being offered at this price, so it is well worth booking early in order to enjoy the lowest rate.
In addition to its London seat sale, Air Canada has also announced special rates on tickets to southern resorts and sun destinations, such as Grand Cayman, Cancun (Mexico), Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima and Santiago. Ticket prices start at $260 each way. Air tickets to Sydney (
Australia) are also on sale for $619. In order to receive these rates, tickets must be bought by October 31, 2007.
