aLady Gaga’s Wheelchair Stunt at Sydney’s Town Hall Causes Backlash

Lady GagaPeople have always admitted that they love going to Lady Gaga’s live performances. This is because she is not just a singer, she is an entertainer. Gaga is able to put on a show which comes across almost like a story put to music when she is on stage. However, not everything she does on stage is loved by everyone.

Just recently, Lady Gaga was attacked over a wheelchair stunt she performed on stage at Sydney’s Town Hall. Apparently Gaga had rolled herself on stage in a mermaid outfit. Now disability groups from around the world are slamming this performance and talking about how “distasteful” they felt it was.

One group that attacked her was the Roman Reed Foundation, which is known for promoting spinal cord injury research. This group just recently said on Twitter that they encourage Lady Gaga to use her celebrity status to try and get people out of wheelchairs instead of cruising the stage in one. Do people think this is cool?

The founder of disability group Life Rolls On Foundation, Jess Billaure, said that she was very unimpressed with the little performance. She went on to say that this is not the first time that Lady Gaga has gotten on stage and used a wheelchair in her performance. It more than likely will not be her last. However, the Life Rolls On Foundation invites her to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with being paralyzed everyday.

Mrs Billaure then went on to say that she wants to extend a very personal invitation to Lady Gaga to attend one of their Life Rolls On events. Here, people who are disabled snowboard, skate and do other sports. It is easy to see that a fun life is very possible beyond the wheelchair. Maybe this would be the most “shocking” thing for Lady Gaga to see.

Of course, this is not the only bad news that is hitting Lady Gaga recently. Apparently Lady Gaga’s very own YouTube channel has now been officially suspended. Apparently, this happened after the singer’s channel infringed on copyright claims from a Japanese media company.

Reports go on to show that the Media Interactive Inc group got upset after they saw that Lady Gaga had posted footage of herself appearing on one of their Japanese shows. After seeing this, the TV group ordered YouTube to suspend her account until the legal fight was sorted out. Anyone that visits her channel for the time will see a message that says, “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s Copyright Policy.”

Although there are a few bad things that are going wrong right now for Gaga, she is not letting it keep her down. She said that her fans give her strength and the power to continue to share her music around the world.
