Alamo Launches SaveTime Service

Alamo Rent A Car has announced the launch of their SaveTime service, which was revealed at the 2010 International Pow Wow hosted by the US Travel Association. SaveTime is the company’s pre-rental registration service that travelers can use if they are going to the US and Canada, and it can be accessed on the car hire agent’s UK website.

To use the service, customers simply need to input a reservation number and surname, details about their license and other personal information, and complete a booking, which can be paid when checking in at an airport.

Alamo Rent A Car is a recognized innovator of technology who offers over 159 self-service kiosks across 65 US destinations. The company earned the 2007 Extra Mile Award from Budget Travel magazine. Alamo Rent A Car is part of Enterprise Holdings through its American regional subsidiaries. The company provides international travelers with all-inclusive rates and comprehensive products such as Alamo Gold, which includes a tank of gas and as many as 3 additional drivers for those traveling to the US and Canada.

Alamo vice president of international sales and marketing Phil Eaton said that the company has pioneered ways to save travelers time while booking a car hire with their kiosk system. The new SaveTime service will provide another way for them to shorten the amount of time it takes to hire a car so that their customers can get on with their journey faster, he continued.

Eaton also said that Alamo will continue looking for other ways to deliver the kind of responsive and innovative customer service that international tour operators and travelers value. They are proud of their leadership position in the industry, he added, and their team focuses on exceeding their customers’ expectations.
