The Avis Budget Group has just released details of an exciting new collaboration with one of the US’s biggest airlines. The car hire supplier has inked an agreement with low-cost-carrier JetBlue which will give each others’ customers preferential deals and rewards.
In a statement posted up on the Avis group website, sales and marketing vice-president Stephen Wright noted that the company’s three main brands appealed to a broad spectrum of hirers and would suit JetBlue flyers down to the ground. He explained that Payless provided renters with an efficient, no-frills service giving cars at rock-bottom prices.
Mr Wright carried on by saying Budget also featured excellent service and vehicles at competitive daily rates while Avis was ideally suited to discerning customers who desired superior rentals. He finished off by adding that everyone at the Avis group was delighted to be JetBlue’s selected partner.
The tie-up will benefit members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue frequent flyers club. Basic level members will garner 100 points for each day’s hire up to five days. Mosaic-level members will earn double the points for each day up to the five. To mark the auspicious collaboration, Avis and JetBlue are offering TrueBlue members special incentives.
The offer is valid until 29 February 2016 and includes the chance of netting up to a third off Avis, Budget or Payless rentals and a 600-point bonus. The group has depots right across the US with locations in all the major cities and at airports such as Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles International and New York’s John F Kennedy.
