Avis electric car rentals

In the world we live in today many people are looking at ways that they can better service the environment. At many households across the country you will often see different coloured bins that are set out for recycling. In our homes we are looking at ways we can stop wasting energy, turning the tap when we brush our teeth, switching lights out when we are not in the room and keeping the fridge and freezer not overstocked. Another way we look at helping the world we live in is by how we get about in the day-to-day running of our life. Car hire is becoming a popular way to do this and with so many firms out there to choose from you can get some great deals.

It is not all about the best deal to suit your pocket though, and a handful of firms have taken the step to list what each car’s CO2 emissions are. You can look at this and decide do you really need that car or could you go for something a little less fruity. If you go for the big one you can pay extra to offset your carbon footprint, but why bother with the gas guzzler? Avis will, in the next two years, be launching a range of electric cars from Nissan. This is seen as the next step in a environmentally conscious world of car rentals. There will be four models available when they are all rolled out and even though the pricing has yet to be fixed, it could be a healthier way to travel around with a car rental.
