In California a new service has emerged. The service allows you to track the location of your pride and joy. Not only that but you also find out the speed that your offspring are driving in it!

The system works by using GPS to track your car. The device known as the Keplar Advantage by Inilex costs $600 from your local car dealership. That, however, is not all you have to pay. There’s also a $1100 monthly subscription fee too to cough up. The device is fitted under your dashboard and resembles a walkie talkie shape.

Once installed you then have the fun part of watching it’s location via a web-based interface. From the administration panel you can also receive alerts via your mobile phone or by email. There are a number of other functions available such as setting up a area on the map around the car – so that if it goes beyond it you’ll get an alert.

This isn’t the only company that offers such as service, there’s also the Lojack service too which has superior amount of customers compared to Inilex.
