British Airways offers free accommodation in London
Posted on: May 7th, 2008 by Jean AdamsBritish Airways is offering passengers the opportunity to enjoy two free nights at a London hotel during the upcoming summer season. The deal, however, is currently restricted to those travelling to the British capital from Toronto’s Pearson Airport. In order to participate in this promotional, clients are asked to purchase their BA roundtrip ticket for only $650, not including surcharges, taxes and other fees, and travel together with a friend or family member, as all accommodation in London is based on double occupancy. Those travelling alone, however, will still be offered accommodation, but only for one night. In order to receive this deal, however, clients must be sure to book their ticket no later than May 13, 2008, although they may choose to travel as late as September 3rd.
In addition to the free two night accommodation for those travelling from Toronto to London, British Airways is also offering discounted rates from other Canadian cities. Those flying from Montreal’s Trudeau Airport may also purchase their ticket starting from as low as $650, while airfare from Calgary and Vancouver both cost $850.
Passengers are well advised to book their tickets online at http://www.ba.com/, rather than through BA’s call centre, in order to avoid an extra $20 surcharge for this service. Additionally, all prices listed on BA’s site, as well as the two nights free stay in London require passengers to reserve at least seven days in advance of their intended date of departure. The departure date should also be midweek (Monday to Wednesday), in order to receive the lowest prices.
