Carrentals.co.uk is tops for search engines
Posted on: December 18th, 2009 by Samantha WilliamsIf you are looking for car rental while in the UK you might well come across the site Carrentals.co.uk when searching on the internet. The latest data that has been released by Greenlight, a search engine marketing firm, has shown that Carrentals came out on top when UK residents are searching for car rental using the top three key phrases.
More than 3,500 key phrases were analysed and the top three came out as ‘car hire’, ‘car rental’ and car hire UK’. Carrentals.co.uk topped the list of most visible websites with a majority 54 per cent. This spread through the British market to searches for car hire overseas and domestic gaining 52 and 63 per cent respectively.
This is a great coup for the firm that has been operating since 2003 as a broker for car rental firms across the globe. The website does all the searching for the customers to get them the best possible price available. They do this by not operating a pay-per-click service to the hire car providers, which in turn keeps the prices low for the customer.
“Greenlight’s report highlights the strength of our position online, with our expertise in search engine optimisation positioning us at the forefront of the market. Despite the recession, 2009 has been a great year for us, with our sales outstripping targets across the board,” said Gareth Robinson, managing director for Carrentals.co.uk. Mr Robinson added that they are now looking into 2010 and at ways they can bring even more first class service to UK hire car market.
