Global hotelier Hilton has added three new DoubleTree brand hotels to its portfolio of UK establishments. DoubleTree by Hilton premises in Swindon, Kingston upon Thames and at Edinburgh Airport recently opened and have all welcomed their first guests.
The addition of the three properties increased the total number of DoubleTree by Hilton rooms in the UK by 467. DoubleTree branded establishments are upmarket and usually feature all the facilities and creature comforts guests are likely to need for their stays.
DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport boasts 150 rooms which have been revamped to reflect the subtleties of the brand. Other bonuses here are the LivingWell Club and Pool, the Scottish influenced fare served at the Space Restaurant, 20-plus meeting rooms and a location a mere seven miles from downtown Edinburgh and its landmark castle.
In Kingston upon Thames, the DoubleTree occupies a prime location between the River Thames and Kingston Railway Station. Guests staying in one of this property’s 146 rooms have access to a 24/7 fitness centre, meeting rooms with the largest capable of accommodating 260 attendees, and the ambient Hawkers Bar and Brasserie.
Swindon’s DoubleTree by Hilton is set in a rural Wiltshire spot close to the Junction 16 exit of the M4 motorway. It is only three miles from central Swindon and features a collection of 171 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites. The Larder Restaurant serves up fine British dishes while a state-of-the-art fitness facility is open around the clock.
