Drive Italy with Auto Europe
Posted on: May 22nd, 2008 by Martin FellowesLeading car hire firm Auto Europe is offering incentives to entice travelers into booking early for their Italian vacations this year. The company, which has been in the business for over half a century has some impressive savings to offer early bookers.
For a limited time, Auto Europe is offering a guaranteed one-car class upgrade for Italian rentals completely free. This special allows travelers to reserve an economy class two door manual transmission Chevy Matiz, for example, and drive away with a 2/4 door manual transmission Fiat Punto for just $357 a week (normally $369).
Those who reserve the Fiat Punto will be upgraded to the economy class VW Polo, normally hired out at $419 per week.
In addition to the free upgrade, travelers can also benefit for a discount of 15 per cent of all rental services and a free one-week mobile phone rental.
Travelers planning to rent an Italian villa and stay a while may want to take advantage of Auto Europe’s Peugeot Buy Back program which offers lower rates the longer the rental. Everyone who books before the end of June will be given a free one-week GPS rental and a map of Italy.
Auto Europe is able to arrange discounted airfare for Italian bound travelers as well as affordable car rental. Round-trip airfare in the peak season starts at $1109 per person, including fuel surcharges. Hotels start from just $120 a night and incur an additional 10 per cent discount when booked at the same time as airfare.
Car hire rates include unlimited free mileage and mandatory insurance fees. This offer is available until June 30th this year.
