Posted on: November 5th, 2009 by Robert BergersonAlamo Rent a Car has released an early bird special discounted service in the US that allows travellers to take advantage of numerous money-saving deals on the hire car. Customers of the service can make use of a complimentary upgrade on all car rentals that are booked prior to the 31st of March 2010 for use in the period between the 1st of April and the 31st of March 2011.
As the worldwide recession continues to take its toll on the travel sector, the car hire industry is constantly looking for new ways to increase their customer base and offers like the new ones provided by Alamo are currently common place within the industry. The rates in the early bird deals are inclusive of unlimited mileage, sales tax, state taxes and surcharges, fees, customer service charges, $1million liability cover, collision damage waiver (CDW) and a minimum of third party liability insurance. Customers can get daily, weekly and monthly deals on cars from Alamo Rent a Car and deals are subject to availability.
Alamo boasts almost 300 depots throughout the whole of the US and 95 per cent of their depots are based at airports. It is also the number one car hire company in Los Angeles as well as Orlando and the majority of its fleet, 62 per cent, is less than five months old. The company is also on the verge of launching a new fleet of hybrid cars; Toyota Prius and Toyota Camry, that they hope will also prove to be a huge hit with their customers.
