In preparation for its launch of the first ever non-stop air service from Dubai to Los Angeles and San Francisco, Emirates Airline has completed a road show stopping at five locations along the west coast of the U.S.
The highlight of the show was the airline’s newly-designed First Class Private Suite, which is actually one of many new products demonstrating the carrier’s commitment to excellence in customer service and comfort.
Led by executives of the airline, the event has featured a multimedia presentation focused on Dubai and Emirates Airline, live entertainment and the chance to sit in the new Boeing 777-200LR First Class Private Suite. The new suite offers an extra-large, fully-reclining seat that turns into a flat bed, a 23” wide LCD screen and over 1000 entertainment channels. It is equipped with an individual storage compartment and a coat closet, as well as a vanity desk and a mini-bar.
“The San Francisco Bay Area is undoubtedly one of the most innovative high-tech business centres in the U.S., if not the world. Emirates’ direct route will create a new, highly convenient opportunity for Bay Area companies to do business in Dubai,” commented Nigel Page, the airline’s senior vice president for commercial operations in the Americas. “Our new Los Angeles service will connect travellers to the capital of the world’s entertainment industry. Coinciding with the establishment of a growing media industry in Dubai, the L.A. route represents excellent access for growing business connections. Both services will also expand access for leisure travellers interested in visiting California- one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.”
