A spike in demand has seen Enterprise Rent-A-Car relocate to larger premises at one of its key locations in Northern Ireland. Enterprise has moved its centre of operations in the town of Omagh from a small car dealership to a renovated warehouse in a prime location.
Commenting on the move, local manager Andy Lilley said it was necessary to cater to the increasing demand for car and van hire from local residents and visitors. He noted that the surge was a part of the trend of sharing in which people took advantage of services as they were more convenient than actually going out and buying the product or service themselves.
Mr Lilley continued by saying that paying for services or items only when they were needed was a money-saver too. He finished off by saying that a purpose-built depot allowed for more space, vehicles and staff in addition to longer opening hours and better access signs.
Enterprise’s Omagh branch will start off by closing one hour later in the evening. A staff of five will be on hand to enable hirers to pick up or drop off vehicles at times that best suit their particular needs. The branch in the old location originally opened to give people replacement vehicles when their own were being repaired at garages in the locality.
The Enterprise warehouse is just off Dromore Road and less than 15 minutes’ walk from the town’s High Street. The road is also the A32 and the principal highway between Omagh and Enniskillen. Enniskillen Castle and its Fermanagh County and Royal Inniskilling Military museums plus Lough Erne are prime attractions here.
