Enterprise CarShare Shows Great Growth

The rental car industry has been showing a huge change in focus. Instead of focusing on daily and weekly rentals, it has focused more on hourly rentals. This has proven to be pretty popular with the general public. So much so that Enterprise CarShare has started to see a great increase in its consumer base.

The big car r
ental companies, such as Enterprise and Hertz, didn’t start this trend. Rather, it was started by companies that specialise in car-sharing services, most of which began on college campuses where there are large numbers of people who don’t own their own cars. Once the service started to expand, the big rental companies very quickly jumped on board.

Enterprise said that its car-sharing business has seen an increase in membership by nearly 100 percent. As a result, the company has continued to expand its program.  In fact, Enterprise said that it has already launched nearly 30 new car-sharing programs around the United States within the past year and expects the program to continue to grow.

According to Enterprise, the car-sharing service is available in more than 35 states across the country. This service is also available in Canada and the United Kingdom. Its programs are available on 100 university campuses, and 40 programs are dedicated to business and government accounts. Enterprise hopes to continue expanding this program and offer it in other countries in the near future.

To help expand its programs, Enterprise developed an app for both Android and iPhones. This app enables users to access information about the Enterprise CarShare program no matter where they are. The app allows users to modify their existing reservations, choose a pickup location and even extend the rentals that they already have.

Ryan Johnson, the vice president of the Enterprise CarShare program, said that the program offers people a very cost-effective alternative to owning a car. This is something that people want, which is evident from the growth in members that the company has seen recently. Enterprise anticipates the interest in this program to continue to grow in the coming months and years.

Right now, the Enterprise CarShare program is found in major cities such as Washington, D.C., Boston, New York City, Denver, Chicago and Toronto. The service launched in Honolulu recently as well. Enterprise said that it’s always on the lookout for markets that it feels are in need of this program.
