According to new reports, Enterprise is continuing its expansion into Europe. Its newest efforts are made possible thanks to a new joint venture in Denmark. Enterprise says that it has started a venture with the well-established Danish companies Nordania Leasing and Semler Group. These groups are the largest vehicle renting companies in the country.
Together, Nordania Leasing and Semler Group will operate a new network of Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches all over Denmark. The first Enterprise branch to open as a result of this venture was at Copenhagen Airport on Feb. 17. Enterprise said that it has plans to open another location at Jutland’s Billund Airport. Both companies plan to continue opening new locations through the city over the next few years.
These new locations in Denmark will be found at transport hubs, mainly airports, across the country. The goal is for these new locations to meet the growing demand of both leisure and business travellers in the area. Enterprise said that it will open a few locations at existing Semler Group dealerships across Denmark as well. These locations will serve as a way to provide service to the local communities.
Henrik Rohmann-Sonderby, a member of the executive board and the head of sales for Nordania Leasing, said that this partnership is going to be a great opportunity for everyone involved. Under the Enterprise banner, they will be able to expand the experience of automobile renting in Denmark.
The vice president of global franchising for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Peter A. Smith, said that establishing the Enterprise brand in Denmark is one that they have been looking into for a while. Both Nordania and Semler have strong visions for what to do with the Enterprise name. There is a very clean plan for business growth.
Smith also said that Enterprise has been built on customer satisfaction, and that is something the company looks for in partner companies. Enterprise is sure that it has made the right choice and put together a very successful team. The company will continue to expand all over the world.
