Enterprise wins top hospitality award
Posted on: February 15th, 2008 by Jean AdamsEnterprise Rent A Car won a prestigious hospitality award earlier this week. The distinction was offered by Market Matrix, a firm that works with major companies in the travel and hospitality industry to determine what clients think of available services. Enterprise appears to have earned the best grades in a so-called “hospitality index” compiled by Market Matrix for key players in the industry. The award reflects a high level of customer satisfaction with the car hire giant over the course of last year.
Enterprise, however, was hardly the only firm to receive a distinction, since the study aims to evaluate all sectors of the hospitality industry. As such, Sun Country Airline earned top marks among all carriers, while Kimpton Hotels was seen as offering the best accommodation. These results are based upon customer responses to questions that probe their level of satisfaction with the service they received when planning various aspects of their trip.
Enterprise officials, however, were probably not terribly surprised that their firm was awarded for the quality of the service offered. This car hire giant has, after all scooped up awards on the last 21 out of 22 occasions that Market Matrix has handed out distinctions to firms involved in the hospitality industry.
Other major winners as per the results of the hospitality index include Jameson Inns, as the best budget hotel, Rosewood, for top luxury accommodation, Disney Vacation Club for offering clients the best timeshare accommodation and Wynn Las Vegas, which has been rated as the number one upscale casino in the United States.
