Europcar adds BMW to its Prestige fleet

Europcar Logo & KeychainFor the first time, Europcar has partnered with BMW to give customers an even more luxurious option when they hire a vehicle from the Prestige fleet. The Prestige by Europcar fleet has added several BMW 3 Series and BMW 5 Series cars in response to demand. The operator is ensuring that consumers will enjoy a first-rate diving experience by offering several more options than standard vehicle specifications.

The BMW 3 Series Saloon vehicles offer automatic transmissions that use the manufacturer’s state-of-the-art EfficientDynamics technology. The cars feature interior comfort and media packages that include leather seating, heated front seats and parking sensors. The BMW 5 Series Saloon vehicles offer sport automatic transmissions and feature the media package, sun protection glass and folding mirrors on the exterior. Several BMW 5 Series M Sport Saloons are available with eight-speed auto transmissions. These vehicles will provide Europcar customers with several choices from the BMW brand and are available for bookings now on rental pick-ups from February.

Meanwhile, Europcar has also announced that it has won a 2013 Business Travel Award for Best Ground Transportation. Business travellers want convenience, great service and speed, and the company has addressed these needs with recent initiatives. Its eReady service was introduced at the end of last year and removes the need to queue up to pick-up a hire. This is perfect for business travellers on a busy schedule, particularly those who arrive at airports. The car rental operator is also the only one that allows deliveries and collections to be totally booked through the Travel Agent GDS system. This allows travel agents to track the whereabouts of their clients’ staff to give them peace of mind in a crisis.

McCall believes Europcar’s success is mostly due to its focus on business travellers’ needs.
