Europcar is helping businesses stay on the move while they wait for fleet vehicles to be delivered for their employees to use. This help is coming in the form of a new innovative service – 3 Advantage – which offers vehicles rentals for a minimum three months. The hires can be extended in one-month increments for up to six months, giving businesses flexibility to suit their needs.
3 Advantage offers businesses all the benefits of short-term vehicle rentals, just under a longer term agreement. This reflects the operator’s continued commitment to deliver services to corporate customers that demonstrate the changing needs of the marketplace. The new service provides cost effective, flexible car hire solutions and particularly faces the challenge of keeping staff on the move while they are waiting for new fleet vehicles to be delivered.
This new Europcar service provides a real alternative for leasing fleet vehicles as well, which is why it’s perfect for drivers waiting on new company cars or workers travelling on a temporary basis. A range of makes and models are available for companies to choose from, including compacts, saloons and estates. The colour of the vehicle can even be chosen, just as if they are choosing a new car. Businesses aren’t limited to the number of cars they order through 3 Advantage, which gives them total flexibility. Additionally, all vehicles provided through this service are brand new, avoiding the need for servicing or MOT. They also feature 24-hour roadside assistance and breakdown recovery.
Furthermore, businesses who choose to rent under 3 Advantage will find that they have more control over their costs. With fixed rates from Europcar, clients receive monthly bills and customised monthly reporting. Vehicle booking is also efficient and fast via one phone number and a dedicated team for queries.
Europcar UK Group managing director Ken McCall says they have seen a lack of solutions for companies that are waiting for new fleet vehicles. Short-term car hire isn’t designed to provide a solution for having to wait months before new vehicles are delivered. At the same time, vehicle leasing requires much longer commitments, making it just as unsuitable. Their new 3 Advantage initiative has been created to fill this gap.
McCall added that they understand corporate customers need access to a variety of vehicle rental solutions that will help them reduce costs in their fleet without giving up flexibility. This is why they have developed 3 Advantage, which provides competitive fixed rates on short-term contracts. They believe this gives business fleets the best quality service from Europcar as an affordable leasing alternative.
