First bmibaby 2010 routes on sale

Budget airline bmibaby has revealed a new range of routes for summer 2010, and has put the first phase of the programme on sale.

The low cost carrier’s summer 2010 flying programme offers flights departing from Birmingham, Cardiff, East Midlands and Manchester airports.

Flights to seven Mediterranean destinations have been put on sale, for the period from 19 April to 23 October of next year. According to the airline, additional frequencies will be released in the near future.

The routes that are now on sale include: from Birmingham, flights to Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Murcia and Palma; from Cardiff, service to Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Menorca, Murcia and Palma; from East Midlands, flights to Alicante, Almeria, Faro, Malaga, Menorca and Palma; and from Manchester, service to Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma.

Julian Carr, the airline’s commercial director, said: “Travellers can now plan ahead and book early to secure the best deals. This will be especially beneficial for the family market as they can secure the most popular school holiday dates.  Plus those with holiday homes will be able to book their trips in advance now to get really a low flight price.”

He added: “Even more frequencies on the Mediterranean routes and flights to our other European cities and UK destinations will be going on sale in the near future.”
