First Choice offers play area at Doncaster Airport

First Choice conducted an inquiry into what other services they can offer their customers while at UK airports waiting to depart for sunnier climes. The results they came up with were more activities to keep the children entertained. That is why just this month they opened a kid’s play area at Doncaster Sheffield Airport with a view to rolling them out at other airports if the scheme works.

The First Choice Kids Corner at the airport is free to use and children from eight years and under do not have to be flying with First Choice to experience the fun. Outside there is plenty of seating for parents to keep an eye on the youngsters at play with snack bars and refreshments stalls all in one area so the family can stay together.

“We invest a huge amount of time in listening to what our customers tell us they want when they go on holiday and that includes the time our customers spend in the airport. Airports can sometimes be a stressful place especially with a family in toe and we know that holidays are supposed to be a very happy time,” said Steve Adamson, senior innovation manager for First Choice.
