Globe Car Rental focuses on inexpensive mid-term car hires
Posted on: September 11th, 2007 by Frank ToddGlobe Car & Truck Rental is a firm based in Montreal, Canada, focusing on inexpensive rental solutions for those looking to hire a vehicle for medium term periods. Many of the company’s customers are looking for weekly rentals, while some prefer to secure a car for an entire month, or for several months. The least expensive weekly rate offered by Globe is $169.95 per week, or $525 per month. For this rate, renters can expect to receive a four-door compact sedan vehicle, with no extra fees, up to 1500 kilometers per week, or a maximum of 4000 kilometers per month and a free shuttle pick up from Montreal’s Trudeau International Airport, or from the city’s central railway station, located near Bonaventure, in the downtown. Globe also offers a further reduction for all clients looking to rent a car for a period of three months.
All car hire reservations can be arranged online, using the interactive form on Globe’s website. Globe’s main claim to fame is that the initial price quoted, or advertised on the company’s website is essentially all-inclusive and that there are no major additional charges to be paid. The only exception to this is the so-called license plate recuperation fee, which amounts to a fairly nominal $0.88 per day. Additionally, booking or picking up a car at an airport location costs the same as anywhere else in the city.
Globe also offers special promotional deals for expatriates living in Montreal, who require a car for a period of three to 24 months. In this case, all license plate related costs are included in the package and unlimited mileage is offered in the case of all vehicles.
