The Hertz Corporation has recently announced that it has chosen to enter into an exclusive mobility partnership with car manufacturer Nissan Motor Company. This announcement comes just after Nissan was picked to be the global automotive sponsor for the UEFA Champions League. As a result, Nissan will be the manufacturer of choice for all UEFA-related events.
So what does this new partnership mean for Hertz? It means that Hertz will be providing all logistical support to help Nissan by transporting officials and executives to and from the stadiums during UEFA events. It also means that Hertz will enjoy some advertising during these events as well.
Under this new agreement, Hertz is going to be in charge of supplying Nissan with some of its own brand of cars, including the new Nissan Qashqai 5-seater and the Nissan X-Trail, which comes with five and seven seats. Since Hertz has just over 11,500 locations in more than 140 countries, Nissan believes that Hertz will be more than able to provide it with the rentals it needs during these events.
Hertz International Group President Michel Taride said that the company has a reputation for providing some of the best mobility solutions in the world. This has been proven yet again with this new partnership. Hertz has provided mobility solutions for many huge sporting events in the past. This includes the Rugby World Cup in 2013 and the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships for the past 20 years. Hertz is happy to continue this tradition by helping Nissan kick off the UEFA Super Cup. For this event, Nissan is in need of more than 70 cars. Hertz hopes that this is the start of a long relationship.
According to Nissan, it will use at least four Hertz cars per group game in the UEFA Championship League. The final group game will be held in Berlin on June 6. As a result, these events will need anywhere from 20 to 160 cars.

Between these brands, it is represented in countries around Europe, Latin American, North America, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. This has made Hertz the largest general-use car rental brand in the world. It is also the No. 1 airport car rental brand in the United States.
