It seems like Hertz is announcing a new partnership with some company nearly every day. This time, the Corporation has announced a two-year partnership with popular airline Airberlin. The whole point of this partnership is to offer travellers who use Airberlin special rates on cars in all 171 locations that the carrier serves.
This move should not come as a shock to anyone. In fact, Hertz pointed out that this move just follows the successful feedback it received from Hertz’s affiliation with Airberlin’s well rewards program TopBonus. Hertz hopes to continue to expand the relationship that the two companies share.
Due to this new two-year agreement, all the customers who fly with Airberlin will have access to the huge inventory of Hertz cars and services when they are booking their flights. These customers will not only have fantastic access to Hertz’s rental cars during booking, but they will also enjoy exclusive deals and special rates. In fact, Hertz has said that it will start offering customers discounts on car rentals, and Airberlin said that it will send out flight vouchers.
The flight voucher that Airberlin is talking about is being giving out in celebration of Hertz being a Premier Partner. Any customer who books a rental with Hertz will be given two €10 flight vouchers. These vouchers will be available not only when booking online but also as mirror hangers when renting cars in Germany.
On top off this, Hertz has already said that it will offer discounts between 5 and 20 percent on rentals. This discount is good when renting cars before July 30 on all car pickups that are made before December 31 of this year. Customers should keep in mind that this deal is only good in select European countries. For a full list of terms and conditions, customers should visit Hertz’s website.
The group president for Hertz International, Michel Taride, said that the company has been a partner with Airberlin for a long time. In fact, Hertz has enjoyed a very popular frequent flier partnership for the past decade. This new agreement just helps to improve and expand the relationship between Hertz and Airberlin. All Airberlin customers can rest assured that no matter what destination they fly to with Airberlin, Hertz will be there to help them complete the second leg of their journeys.
The senior vice president of marketing at Airberline, Andre Rahn, said that the company is extremely excited to have expanded its partnership with Hertz. Now people who are flying with Airberlin can enjoy the great service that Hertz offers at a discounted rate.
