Hertz Announces the Toyota Prius for Its Green Collection

Toyota PriusOne of the world’s largest car rental giants, Hertz, has just announced that it is going to add more cars to its Green Collection. This car hire company, which has branches all over Europe, said that one of the cars that it will be adding to this collection is the Toyota Prius. This is a car that is already offered in some areas but now will be available in areas like Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia. If all goes according to plan, the Toyota Prius will become available as of November this year.

When making this announcement, the group president of Hertz International, Michel Taride, said that the company is always looking for ways to reduce its impact on the environment. This is why Hertz offers eco-friendly cars in places like the UK and the United States. Now, Hertz wants to bring the Toyota Prius to its Green Collection in Australia. The Green Collection is an assortment of cars that all feature reduced CO2 emissions.

The regional vice president of Hertz Australia and New Zealand, Chris Rusden, said that Hertz is always striving to offer sustainable business practices. Companies are looking for ways to save money not only in Australia but all over the world. These fuel-efficient cars are cheap to rent and save companies on gas while their employees are driving them around. Saving money on employee travel is always a great way for companies to save money.

Hertz says that the Toyota Prius is the perfect car for consumers who want something that is not only eco-friendly but also easy on the eyes. Hertz added that the Toyota Prius is a very stylish car with a lot of room on the inside. It is a high-performance car that is easy on the wallet. The car is also made of soundproofing materials. This translates to a more tranquil drive than any other car on the market.

Hertz already offers a number of eco-friendly cars in countries all over the world. In large cities like London, Hertz is promoting full electric cars. This movement has been helped by the appearance of electrical charging stations that are now popping up all over the city. As more of these stations continue to pop up all over the city, Hertz will continue to offer more of these cars.

The Hertz Corporation is the parent and operator of such successful name brands as Thrifty, Hertz, Dollar and Firefly. Across Australia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and North America, Hertz has more than 10,400 franchise locations. This number continues to grow by the day as Hertz looks for ways to extend its reach. Thanks to its pure size and user base, Hertz has one of the largest pieces of the pie in the car rental market. However, Hertz’s top spot is challenged daily by other car hire companies as well as the up-and-coming car sharing industry.
