Hertz provides clients with discount vouchers
Posted on: February 13th, 2008 by Taylor SmithHertz is providing clients with a range of valuable vouchers, which can be used to obtain a range of discounts in Australia, on everything from entry tickets to major theme parks to some of the country’s best and most popular restaurants. Clients who pick up their Hertz rental car from a handful of outlets in Australia will be given a booklet containing 17 discount vouchers and some of these coupons can also be used to obtain a complimentary upgrade on a car hire. Other valuable deals include two-for-one tour packages. As such, these vouchers are especially useful for those on holidays and it appears as though Hertz’s intention is to attract an ever larger share of the leisurely rental market. Some analysts have argued that Hertz is at a comparative disadvantage in the leisurely sector, as it has had much more appeal among business travelers, while companies focused on discounted prices have been favoured by renters on vacation.
Wayne Burgoyne, director of sales and marketing at Hertz Australia, noted that the voucher program has been hugely popular among holidaymakers and combined with other discounts offered by the international car hire giant, renters are assured that they get greater value for every dollar that they spend.
Those interested in receiving Hertz vouchers should visit outlets located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin. Clients should, however, keep in mind that the discounts offered vary from one city to another. For example, in Sydney renters can enjoy a 15 percent discount on any Sydney Tower tour, as well as a 15 percent reduction on entry to the Sydney Aquarium. In Perth, on the other hand, renters may receive a 25 percent discount on Captain Cook cruises, as well as a 25 percent reduction on all visits to the Western Australian Maritime Museum.
