The Hertz Corporation and Royal Jordanian have entered a new partnership to provide a range of car rental benefits and special rates to the carrier’s frequent flyer customers around the world. The deal is also great news for other passengers of the airline, as they will be able to enjoy the best available hire rates when they book a car at more than 8,500 locations across the globe through the carrier’s car hire booking tab.
Royal Jordanian is a private company that was founded in 1963 as the national airline for the country of Jordan. It’s based in Amman, the capital, and operates flights from Queen Alia International Airport. The carrier’s fleet of 32 young planes serves 60 destinations across four continents, while the airline is also a member of the Oneworld Alliance.
For the next three years, Royal Jordanian’s Royal Plus members will benefit from special rates on Hertz car rentals in the carrier’s 59 international destinations. They will be able to earn 500 miles for every booking, which will double to 1,000 miles when they book vehicles from the Hertz Prestige Collection. This collection offers luxury brands like Porsche, Mercedes and BMW – guaranteeing a selection of makes and models. The loyalty scheme members will also be able to take advantage of offers and promotions that are exclusive to them through a duel branded link on the airline’s website. When they use the booking platform, they will get an instant confirmation and be guaranteed their booking.
The car hire benefits created by this partnership will be just as good for other business travellers who need their own way to get around for sightseeing and meetings. It will also be beneficial to leisure travellers who want to go on their own holiday road trips in a Hertz car. Rentals are made easy for both types of travellers through the help of Hertz staff at airport and off-airport locations across the network served by Royal Jordanian.
Hertz International president and Hertz Corporation executive vice president Michel Taride says that they are pleased to establish this relationship with Royal Jordanian. They see this as a chance to build a lasting working partnership based on robust business synergies. Both companies are dedicated to making sure consumers benefit from the latest developments, innovations and enhancements in travel comfort, service and ease of access. He added that they look forward to providing members of the Royal Plus programme, as well as other passengers of the carrier, with many appealing car hire offers and great services across the globe.
Royal Jordanian president and chief executive Amer Hadidi says that they are happy to work with Hertz, a leading worldwide car hire brand. Through this partnership, they will enhance the travel experience of their passengers by giving them more benefits. They aim to expand the network of their partners and reward their customers for their loyalty with generous services, including services that it doesn’t directly offer. They understand that loyal consumers look for more privileges, and they are working on new relationships that go beyond earning air miles and include other comprehensive services. This will meet the demands of their passengers, he added, and boost customer satisfaction.
