The Hilton Hotel Corporation has signed a new agreement to operate the Hilton Hangzhou Qianjiang in China, scheduled to be open for the start of 2014. The 300-room hotel will be a first for Hilton in Hangzhou and it will be owned by Zhejiang Huafon Real Estate Development which is a consortium of three local companies.
The new addition will be found in the impressive Dicara Golden Tower which stands at 200 metres tall. The area of Qianjiang where the hotel is to be found is a planned new business district and will welcome business traffic as well as guests from the leisure sector.
“We are delighted to be working with Zhejiang Huafon Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. on this exciting project. This will be the first Hilton hotel in Hangzhou and we aim to make the Hilton Hangzhou Qianjiang the preferred choice for the discerning travellers,” said Martin Rinck, president of Asia Pacific for Hilton Hotels.
The new hotel will be fitted out with an extensive array of business facilities including meeting rooms and larger board rooms. For guests who are on holiday there is going to be spa and massage treatments available as well as fully equipped gym and indoor swimming pool.
The Hilton brand continues to grow, making a statement to the world that the recession will not stop them from creating new jobs and offering the travelling public more options for accommodation.
