Hilton to open new hotel in Liverpool
Posted on: October 26th, 2009 by Samantha WilliamsA new Hampton by Hilton hotel is set to open at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport and it is the first of three hotels to be opened by the Hilton Worldwide Portfolio in the UK city. Hampton by Hilton hotels are a top quality brand that provides their customers with a comfortable place to stay for lower prices. They are mainly aimed at business travellers or budget conscious holidaymakers and the new addition to the John Lennon Airport will feature 160 rooms. It will be built in the airport terminal to make it extra appealing to people using the busy air hub.
The hotel will have not just the Hilton name but also all of its tools and resources as well as expertise in the travel sector. The global head of the Hampton sector said the company looks forwarding to transforming Liverpool’s accommodation options, and spoke of how the new hotel will also create many new jobs for people living in the city. The new hotel will boast a 24-hour snack area for guests who get peckish during their stay, as well as having a smart exterior.
All modern conveniences will be available in the 160 rooms and the architecture will be created in a way that it blends in with the local market heritage of Liverpool. The lobby and reception areas will be ultra comfortable and artwork will be hung on the walls of local artists including The Beatles. The other two proposed Liverpool hotels by the same brand will be opened in 2010, and both are currently under construction.
