Katy Perry admits pinching pillows from hotels

Pop star Katy Perry has revealed that she cannot stay in a hotel room without taking a souvenir home with her. The I Kissed a Girl and California Gurls singer says she takes a pillow from a hotel in every city she stays in.

Currently on a worldwide tour to promote her hit album Teenage Dream, Miss Perry will surely be taking up a lot of space in the tour bus with pillows, having already travelled to New York, Europe and the Far East. The beauty also confessed to pinching the feathery headrests from posh hotels in Paris and London.

In a radio interview, Miss Perry, who is engaged to marry UK funny man Russell Brand, said that she took the Eurostar and was upset when she realised she’d forgotten to take a pillow from the last place she had stayed.

She added jokingly that although pillow covers are probably okay, she does not know whether actual pillows are the most sanitary things to pinch, as all sorts of characters are laying their heads on them.

The star, who like most celebrities no doubt receives hundreds of freebies from cosmetic companies vying for her to endorse their products, also admitted making off with complimentary shampoo from hotel bathrooms and expensive sweets from the mini bar.

Miss Perry said she once asked maids at a fancy hotel in Tokyo to bring more chocolates and lotions as she had already pocketed the lot.
