Katy Perry Considers Herself a Weirdo

Just recently, Katy Perry was telling media sources that she prides herself on being a little weirdo. She then went on to admit that being with funnyman Russell Brand makes her feel like a teenager again. According to reports, the star will marry Brand later on this year.

Katy, who currently has a number one album in the charts called Teenage Dream, said that she has never been normal. Of course, this is a fact that she has always really liked about herself. She then went on to say that, with this album, she wanted to show people what it was to be human and to be in love. She wanted to show people what it’s like to have someone walk into their life and make them feel over emotional. It is like the same feeling that people have when they are a teenager in love, and that is where the name of the album comes from.

According to Katy, Russell was a pretty big influence on the album itself. She said that it is personal. Teenage Dream was a record she made in like six months time. So the album was about where she was emotionally, romantically, spiritually and mentally at that point in time. If people want to get to know who she really is as an artist or just interested in who she is, then she invites them to dive in.

So it would appear, at least for now, Katy and Russell are very much in love. More information about their marriage will become available as the date nears. Hopefully this will be one of the few relationships between famous people that actually works out.
