Leading car hire website Carrentals.co.uk expands affiliate programme

Carrentals.co.uk, a leading online car rental comparison site, has announced the expansion of its UK affiliate offering through a new deal signed with Trade Doubler. The company reports a market-leading four per cent conversion rate, and affiliates are offered a five per cent commission.

Gareth Robinson, who is the managing director of Carrentals.co.uk, commented recently: “In the current market a growing number of British businesses are recognising the potential of becoming an affiliate to boost revenue from new sources.  Carrentals.co.uk is the UK’s most successful car hire price comparison site, with our sales converting at around 4% – three times higher than any of our competitors.”

Any UK business can now add a Carrentals.co.uk banner to their website that visitors to the site can click on to book car hire. Bookings are made on the Carrentals.co.uk site; and full tracking and reporting of both bookings and commissions are provided.

Arctic Sunrise, the award-winning affiliate management group, will manage the programme, which will run on the Trade Doubler network.

Carrentals.co.uk originally launched in February of 2003, growing to become one of the UK’s leaders in car hire. Rental car companies represented on the site include Alamo, Budget, EasyCar, Ebookers, Hertz, Holiday Autos, Opodo, Sixt and Thrifty. Consumers are able to compare prices offered by several rental car companies and can refine searches by car type.
