Sixt is currently expanding it car rental outlets and Mexico is the next country to enjoy the services provided by the car rental giant. A total of 15 new outlets are open throughout Mexico and services will be aimed at private customers as well as businesses. Sixt are predominately aiming at attracting customers from the major tourist areas including Mexico City and its busy airport, Benito Juarez. With foreign holiday sales on the increase, Sixt are getting ahead of the game by gearing up for more people visiting the popular holiday destination.
Guadalajara is home to over one million people and there is also a Sixt branch there. Monterrey is also well populated and there is another Sixt branch there too. With so many residents and holidaymakers, Sixt are hoping to attract a significant increase in business. In January 2010, the car rental company will also be opening a new branch in the ever-popular Cancun area of Mexico where many Europeans choose to holiday, as well as Americans and Mexicans.
The Mexican branches of Sixt will offer many services alongside car hire. Long-term rentals are aimed at businesses and the low prices should attract many new customers. People on holiday can also make use of the cheap prices, and the fleet on offer includes a whole variety of cars and vehicles. All terrain 4×4 cars as well as SUVs and limousines are available and manufacturers include GM, Chrysler, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, VW, Jeep and Hummer. Besides Mexico, Sixt also have well established branches in Brazil, Costa Rica, Panama, Chile and Argentina.
