Mumbai to Saudi by Jet Airways

Jet Airways recently launched their first service from Mumbai in India to the capital of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia their second route into the Middle Eastern country. The first flight was launched from Mumbai by the executive director of Jet Airways, Mr Saroj K Datta.

The Indian carrier already has a service from Mumbai to Jeddah and this, their second service will run four times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays onboard a Boeing 737-800.

All the flights that depart Mumbai for Riyadh will leave in the evening time arriving at their destination late night at night. The return flights will leave later into the night arriving back at Mumbai in the early hours of the next day.

“Saudi Arabia is a very important market for Jet Airways on account of the large volume of traffic to the Gulf Kingdom, to and from India, and an important addition to the airline’s growing Gulf network. With the launch of our second daily service to Saudi Arabia, we are confident of further reinforcing our position as among the leading carriers on the Indo-Gulf sector,” said Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer at Jet Airways.

Jet Airways are forever expanding at the moment and have just announced their second daily service to Bangkok starting this month as well as a new service from southern India to Dubai its fifth into the Arab state.
