The readers of Executive Travel really like National Car Rental. This was made apparent after National Car Rental was once again voted the best car hire service overall in the entire travel industry. This poll was called the Best Rental Car Company Overall and was published in the 2013 Leading Edge Awards.
The Leading Edge Awards is an event that helps to showcase the best services and products on the market for business travellers today. The awards have been handed out for years and business travellers pay close attention to which companies win the awards.
Of course, National Car Rental did not just walk away with one award. It also won an award for its Emerald Club. This consumer loyalty program won this accolade for Best Rental Car Company loyalty Program. The Emerald Club was launched by National Car Rental nearly 26 years ago. Today, it is still one of the best loyalty programs on the market thanks to National’s commitment to always changing and evolving its system.
So why has National Car Rental been voted the best rental car company on the market? Well, a lot of this has to do with the company’s fight for perfection. For example, just last year, it introduced multilingual, touch-screen kiosks in select locations. These new kiosks make it easy for people of all languages to rent cars. The kiosks offer people the following languages: Portuguese, Italian, English, German, Italian, Spanish and French. It is little things like this that help National Car Rental to keep improving and meet the growing needs of its consumer base.
The man who handles National Car Rental’s marketing efforts, Rob Connors, says that his company is just thrilled and honoured to receive two awards this year at the awards. These new awards help to show National Car Rental’s on-going commitment to reach and exceed the expectations of its business travellers. This is something that National Car Rental aims for every time a consumer rents a car. National Car Rental will continue to do its best to focus on what consumers want and upgrade to the latest technologies.
Executive Travel surveys are always considered to be among the best in the travel industry. This has a lot to do with the fact that they are taken by business travellers who have taken at least 38 round trips per year. Since these people travel so much, it is safe to assume that they know what most people are looking for when they travel. Winning one of these awards is good promotion for a company not only with consumers but among other companies in the industry. It lets the other companies know that they mean business.
Other winners this year included Delta Air Lines, which was voted the best overall domestic airline. In terms of hotels, St. Regis was able to take the top spot for Best Overall Hotel. The 2013 Leading Edge Award has 34 categories that cover all aspects of the travel industry.
