New comprehensive coverage offered by Holiday Autos

Holiday Autos recently announced the launch of the industry’s most comprehensive insurance policy on the market, fortifying its position in the industry as one of the leaders in car hire solutions.

Consumer magazine Which? recently named holidayautos.co.uk the “Best Car Hire Website,” coming to is decision on the basis of Holiday Auto’s easy to use website and ability to offer good value for money.

Following this award Holiday Autos launched a Total Damage Excess Waiver (TDEW) which protects consumers against the value of all damage including areas not usually covered by car hire insurance.

The TDEW protects consumers in the event that their rental vehicle incurs damage to its wheels and tires, undercarriage, windows or windscreen and to the interior of the car.

In addition the TDEW includes Collision Damage Excess Liability, Theft Damage Excess Liability and pays the costs of replacement keys when necessary.

The TDEW is available for as little as £4.50 a day.

Travellers covered by TDEW who need to return a damaged car will still have to pay the amount of the excess. They will be able, however, to claim those costs back by sending a completed accident report form to Holiday Autos within 28 days of returning the vehicle.

The Standard Damage Excess Waiver is still available for just £2.50 per day and includes Collision Damage Excess liability and Theft Waiver Excess Liability. The standard waiver does not cover travellers for damage to windows and tires nor to the interior or underside of the car.
