New Interline partnerships by Flybe

This unique partnership system in low-cost circles now has a total of 11 partners for Flybe’s Interline e-ticket: Virgin Atlantic, TAP, Northwest, Emirates, Brussels Airlines, BMI, British Airways and American Airlines.
Stephen Hobday the Head of Sales at Flybe has said that the continued pursuit for implementation of these interline e-tickets displays the commitment of Flybe towards increasing interline partnerships. He further articulated on the ability of their travel trade partners who have now been enabled to issue more tickets over a variety of destination options while effectively demonstrating Flybe’s determination to expand and strengthen its connecting route network.
Convenient, frequent and affordable regional connections are offered by Flybe to the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, London Gatwick and Manchester, Birmingham from Scotland.
On the other hand, it has axed its UK bound Galway service. Flybe, among the leading low cost carriers in Europe announced that it will no longer operate services from Galway airport. The budget flier had been operating regular services to Belfast, Birmingham and Southampton from its base there but has now revealed that all services stand cancelled. This new cancellation is one among many announced by leading airlines from less important routes.
It also announced the extension of normal daily service from Birmingham airport to Isle of Man over the winter season of 2008, 2009 following widespread success ever since the tickets have been available on sale from November last year.
