The cabriolet, at 1.8 tonnes in weight, is perfectly suited to the diesel system, which provides sufficient power for smooth overtaking while offering the driver enough under the bonnet to satisfy the need for speed. Crucially, the money savings associated with the diesel engine are a huge benefit to motorists trying to watch their pennies.
