Phil Collins convinced he is a reincarnated American hero

Famous solo star and former member of Genesis, Phil Collins, is convinced he is the reincarnate of an Alamo survivor.

While rocker Alice Cooper is fond of his golf, Rollin Stones man Charlie Watts owns classic cars without even having a licence, and guitarist Eric Clapton is obsessed with fishing, drummer and vocalist Collins spends his spare time in an entirely different way with those close to him often commenting that he appears to have lost his grip on reality.

After being told four years ago in Texas that he is a reincarnation of a soldier that fought at the Alamo and survived, the 59 year old stare, who was born and then raised in west London is convinced that he played an important part in American history.

The famous battle, which took place in 1836, involved 1,500 Mexican soldiers laying siege upon 200 Texans that included the now iconic Davy Crockett and his accomplice Jim Bowie. While the Alamo was protected, all except a handful of the fighting Texans were killed.
According to friends and relatives, the singer has told them that his music career is over, and he has now dedicated his life to studying the history surrounding the Alamo while collecting artifacts from the famous battle. In a show of his wealth, a perhaps a show of how interested he is in the topic, he recently bought a shop right next to the Alamo just so that he was able to dig underneath it and find more artifacts.
