Ryan Giggs from Manchester United Happy with Squad

Apparently Ryan Giggs, from Manchester United, believes that some of the returning players at Old Trafford will do nothing more but strengthen the squad even more. Rio Ferdinand featured for the Red Devils reserves last Wednesday night against Oldham. This is the first time the defender had been in action since suffering a very bad knee ligament injury during World Cup training. This forced him to pull out of the England squad.

The well known Brazilian midfielder, Anderson, played 90 minutes in the same fight. Experienced full back Gary Neville is also close to a return on the team as well. Ryan Giggs said that the squad is currently looking very strong.

Giggs, who is 36 years of age, said that the returning players will provide a welcomed headache for manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Giggs said that they got Rio to come back in, and Nev has not played yet. However, they have Anderson back as well. Thus, the team is where it needs to be.

Giggs went on to say that this is a headache for the boss. However, it is one he would rather have than to be struggling for players. He said that they will need everyone, because it is a very long season. The manager knows that.

Manchester United is next in action when they travel to Everton on Saturday, September 11. They have been able to pick up seven Premier League points after three games so far. Overall, these returning players will help give Manchester United that extra push that it needs this year. Now only time will tell where this team will end up and how far they can go.
