Sarah Ferguson Sorry for Taking Sex Offender’s Loan

Early this week, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, tried to take the heat off Prince Andrew, the Duke of York and her ex-husband, as he became further entangled in his links to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. She has apologized for accepting a £15,000 loan to help settle a debt with a former secretary, admitting it was a huge error of judgment.

Ferguson also said that Andrew was a first-rate man and father who doesn’t know how to tell a lie or behave dishonorably. She disgusts pedophilia and any sexual abuse of children, she noted, and is so regretful that she can’t say. She will repay the money whenever she can and won’t have anything to do with Epstein ever again, she added.

Prince Andrew has been facing claims that he got massages from teen girls while staying with Epstein several times. The convicted sex offender is a US entrepreneur and served 13 of an 18-month jail sentence for his offense in the state of Florida. The Duke has also been slammed for meeting with overseas figures like Saif, the son of Muammar Gaddafi, and the Tunisian president’s son-in-law.

Ferguson isn’t the only one giving the prince backing, as prime minister David Cameron has also offered his full support to the royal in his role as a trade ambassador for Britain. He believes Andrew is making a major contribution, said a spokesman. This comes despite calls from MPs that he withdraw from the post or be removed, while business secretary Vince Cable has suggested he could quit.
