Sepp Blatter says England’s FIFA Bid Team are Bad Losers

Just recently, Sepp Blatter has called England’s FIFA bid team a bunch of bad losers. He also went on to reject allegations of corruption at football’s governing body after England gained only 2 out of 22 votes for its FIFA bid.

Blatter said that he was surprised by all the English complaining after their defeat. England, of all people, the motherland of fair play ideas, is complaining of their loss. Thus, some of them are now showing themselves to simply be bad losers.

Some of England’s 2018 bid team was mystified that several FIFA executive committee members said that they would vote for their bid, only to go back on their promises last Thursday in Zurich. It led to Roger Burden withdrawing his application for the permanent position last week. He said that he could no longer trust FIFA members.

Roger Burden said that Prime Minister David Cameron, Prince William and other members of the team were promised votes, which were simply not delivered when it came down to it. Cameron made a jibe at FIFA on Wednesday when he was asked in Parliament what he thought about football’s governing body after his experience of the bid. He responded that he certainly learned one thing. However, this one thing was that politicians have got nothing on football management when it comes to breaking promises.

Oh well…what’s done is done, and England has lost the bid. However, some experts still point out that England would have won if people would have kept their promises. The experts say that the fact that some people would lie right to peoples’ faces shows their true colors.
