With the huge success Sixt has had with their iPhone application enabling their customers to book and amend their choices while on the go via their iPhones. It will come as no surprise that they are already updating the service they offer to a more comprehensive one. The new version, iSixt 3.0, is already available to download at the online store and will give all customers the chance to select their preferred model of van or car via their phone link as well as the old options of the car’s history and the nearest location of a Sixt branch.
For business users or others that use car rentals regularly there is a new login page that can store all the user’s details and preferences when hiring a vehicle. All the details are saved and all customers have to do is change the time and date and they have a new booking, which makes life a lot easier for busy people. Another new option is the online check-in, where users can log on up to four hours before their pick-up/drop-off time and select the exact car they would like from a list of vehicles.
The new application will also gives customers the chance to view Sixt’s online blogs, which gives all the latest news in the rental world as well as informing them of latest deals that are on the table. Some deals offered can be instantaneous and save money when people least expect it and it will normally be cheaper than walking into a branch and booking it face to face.
