Sixt to promote Mille Miglia classic car race as mobility and marketing partner

Director of operations at Sixt, Detiev Patsch said in a statement, the common aspect between Mille Miglia and Sixt is a passion for great cars. This is one way to combine tradition with passion, added Patasch.
Sixt was also the race’s mobility partner in 2007, and for the second time in a row, the firm has acquired the status of Mille Miglia’s marketing partner. As the race is deeply rooted in tradition, Germany’s top mobility services company will be sponsoring this year’s race with a wide range of its services. This year the race will be held in Italy, and its organizer will be MAC Events.
Sixt will offer discounts on its car rentals to participants of the race – this will take effect before and after the race. And this provides an opportunity for car enthusiasts at Mille Miglia to hire a car of their choice for a comfortable trip to the rally and to return home after the rally. These customers can hire the Sixt car of their choice and enjoy the Italian landscape adjacent to the Miglia’s official route.
Additionally, Sixt will conduct shuttle operations to restaurants and hotels for participants. The car hire firm will also assist teams by hauling out vehicles as well as repair parts.
Sixt will also be present at all 37 checkpoints of the racing circuit to take care of the Mille Miglia participants, and be available for customers at Sixt service counters.
