SkyEurope and Avis Europe Car Rentals
Posted on: July 19th, 2007 by Dave AndersonSkyEurope has teamed up with Avis Europe to allow passengers to book a rental car via the airline’s website.
Avis has rental locations at every SkyEurope destination, including Bratislava, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, London and Manchester, and the new tie-up will give travellers the reassurance of booking with a reputable firm.
Passengers will also benefit from Avis’ new improvement programme, which has seen it launch an easier-to-understand rental agreement and a “Rapid Return” system whereby renters can quickly and efficiently hand vehicles back to Avis staff.
As well as this, Avis offers a frequent renter service, Avis Preferred that allows members to pick up cars from specially-marked parking bays in convenient locations.
Passengers booking rental cars can also enter a competition to win one of six city breaks, which include return SkyEurope flights for two, car rental and two nights in a four-star hotel.
To enter, participants need to quote the code K107101 when making their reservation.
SkyEurope, which has its headquarters in Bratislava, flies from London Stansted, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham airports.
SkyEurope is the leading and largest Central European low-cost airline. With its five bases in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, it is also the first multi-based airline in the region of Central Europe. SkyEurope operates from its bases in Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Prague and Bratislava. As a low-cost air-carrier from a low-cost country, SkyEurope is well-equipped for competition in the European market.
