Speedier bmi business class check in at Heathrow

At Heathrow Terminal 1, bmi is offering a dedicated area for business-class check-in that will make the process speedier for its premium-class passengers.

The dedicated area was set up as part of the carrier’s pledge to passengers that they could arrive up to 30 minutes prior to their flight departure and be guaranteed to make it to the plane on time.

A new glass surround defines the area, which is located on the terminal’s main concourse, offering check-in services for both business-class and premium economy passengers, members of Diamond Club Gold and the airline’s Silver Card holders.

Leisure travellers will also see more personalized service at check-in, as bmi staff collect their luggage and travel documents to help make check-in proceed as smoothly as possible.

Katherine Gershon, the sales and marketing director for bmi, said: “Part of our core customer offering is a quick and smooth experience through the airport and our new Premium Check-in will help to ensure we deliver on this commitment.”

She added: “The new area offers a fast track route for business class customers using our 30 minute check-in promise and also provides a spacious and relaxing area where families or larger groups can check-in at a more leisurely pace.”
