Sports cars for rent in Singapore

Singapore now has an exotic car rental company that was established by Russian businessman Pavel Zotov. Luxe Car Rental offers high-performance sports cars at daily rates that range from $688 to $2,788 per day.

Currently, the rental car company has four models available, including three convertibles - a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, a Maserati Spyder and a Porsche Boxster S - and a Porsche Carrera 911 S coupe.

From early in 2009, a Ferrari F430 will also be on offer, according to Zotov, who has said that this target is a fleet of 10 sports cars. He added his timing on achieving this number “depends on the market.”

“It is a bit soft now,” he commented, declining to reveal the amount of his investment to date. Zotov is the sole owner of Luxe Car Rental, and the cost of the fleet should reach at least $5 million when all 10 high-performance vehicles have been purchased. Of the first four cars in the fleet, only the Porsche 911 was bought as a new vehicle. The others are under three years old, however, and are all under warranty.

Zotov launched his business in November, noting that there was a niche that hadn’t been filled. Although exotic car rental are relatively common in Europe and the US, this type of vehicle hasn’t been available in Asia.

“We are the only professionally operated luxury sports cars rental provider in Singapore,” he added. “No one has done it before although it is actually a simple formula.”
