Superbreak negotiates preferred distributor deal with TUI

As part of a new commercial agreement, online short break operator Superbreak has become a preferred supplier to TUI UK, in hotel stopovers at UK airports and cruise ports.

The new deal covers the entire TUI network, including First Choice and Thomson, as well as non-retail distributors. Up until now, Superbreak supplied airport hotels for First Choice only.

Superbreak features over 160 hotels at 35 airports and cruise ports in the UK, with most providing both hotel and hotel-plus-parking options.

The company’s sales director, Ian Mounser, commented: “As well as helping TUI to grow their UK airport hotel sales, we are confident it will help them grow their core UK hotel short break sales also.”

He added: “In addition, it reinforces our position as the leading supplier for UK airport hotel bookings from the retail travel high street.”

The distribution director for TUI UK & Ireland, Nick Longman, noted: “We are very pleased to have further cemented our relationship with Superbreak through this new agreement. They have been a great partner for both Thomson and First Choice over the years and we are confident we can build on this past success.”
